Feedzai featured in new RegTech category, attributed to how AI and a maturing fintech ecosystem are transforming risk for banks
NEW YORK, NY, and LISBON, PORTUGAL — July 23, 2026 — Feedzai, the global leader in AI-native financial crime prevention, announced its selection as a RegTech leader in the 2026 edition of CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies, which spotlights the major players reshaping the industry’s future through proven and demonstrated results.
Judged in tandem with Statista, the program selected 500 fintech companies that are leading and driving change in their respective fields, with a focus on scale, profitability, and regulatory maturity. This year’s program comes against the backdrop of a booming fintech market and fast-paced AI innovation, which are forcing the industry to adapt quickly.
The RegTech category, specifically, was a new addition to this year’s program and focused on companies that are helping organizations stay safe and compliant through reporting, identity verification, and risk and anti-money-laundering monitoring. According to CNBC, the category’s addition can be at least partially attributed to the ways that AI and a maturing fintech ecosystem are transforming risk for banks and enterprises.
