Consumers worldwide lost an estimated $442B to scams
New research from the Global Anti-Scams Alliance (GASA) and Feedzai reveals that scams remain a persistent threat in peoples’ everyday lives. The survey of 46,000 adults worldwide in 42 different markets found 13% of respondents encounter a scam at least once a day.
As scams become more common it’s more important than ever to understand the intention behind a transaction. This knowledge, combined with critical insights into scam patterns, is key to stopping scams more effectively.
